Today’s SLA landscape is quite different from what it was 10 years ago. There are many teachers who are decades into their careers and have made multiple changes along the way that included technology, methodology, classroom features and learner characteristics to keep up with the ever-changing times. Most teachers made the necessary adjustments easily and some found these transitions difficult. Also, COVID-19 has forced much of the SLA community to embrace the CALL approach in online classes as well as in the traditional in-person classroom. Everything including attendance, instruction, assessment, and communication can all find a place in the CALL spectrum. This workshop will discuss and demonstrate how teachers can revitalize their roles as educators in a digital learning environment.
