The Queen Rania Teacher Academy Secures Canadian Grant for Educational Development in Jordan

The Queen Rania Teacher Academy has announced that it has received a grant from the Canadian government, represented by the Canadian Ministry of Global Affairs. This funding is designated to facilitate collaboration with the Jordanian Ministry of Education over the ensuing five years, aiming to provide comprehensive professional development opportunities for educators across Jordan.
Under this initiative, QRTA will offer a diverse range of programs, including the Advanced Instructional Leadership Professional Diploma, the in-service Teacher Education Professional Diploma, and subject-specific pedagogy programs covering areas such as Arabic, science, English, social studies, and mathematics. Additionally, there will be an Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Education program and various short courses.
These programs will be accessible to schools under the Ministry of Education in all directorates, including vocational schools. They have been developed following an assessment of educational needs in the field and are in alignment with the objectives outlined in the National Education Strategic Plan. Moreover, the programs have been designed to incorporate the latest advancements in education.
It is anticipated that approximately 28,000 educators from all directorates across Jordan will benefit from these enriching programs. The overarching goal is to enhance the quality of education and improve teaching methodologies throughout the kingdom.
