This study aims to reveal the reality of teacher preparation policies and professional development programs in the Arab countries.The study shows the reality of the Arab teacher and the training programs received before and during the service. Teacher Training Policies and Professional Development Programs in Arab Countries

This report presents the results of an external impact evaluation of the Advanced Instructional Leadership Professional Diploma (AILPD) program. The aim of this evaluation is to evaluate the impact of the program on public school leader graduates, specifically their transformation into instructional leaders, and the improvements observed in school culture, teachers' professional development, professional learning communities, mindset and attitudes, and students' learning outcomes. In addition, the evaluation aims to identify success stories from schools that have implemented instructional leadership practices learned during the program. 

The findings of the evaluation indicate that the AILPD program has led to significant and favorable outcomes for the graduated principals and their schools, teachers, and students. Most of the respondents consulted during the evaluation expressed a high level of satisfaction with the AILPD program. Principals highlighted their enhanced instructional leadership skills and abilities, resulting in positive changes within their schools and a welcoming environment - supported by students, teachers, MOE supervisors, and heads of directorates. Additionally, the evaluation includes a set of recommendations for further improvements based on the findings.



يعرض التقرير نتائج التقييم الخارجي لأثر الدبلوم المهني في القيادة التعليمية المتقدمة، وهو يهدف إلى دراسة أثر الدبلوم على مديري المدارس الحكومية الخريجين من الدبلوم، ومدى تحولهم إلى قادة تعليم متقدمين، بالإضافة إلى التغييرات الإيجابية التي لوحظت في ثقافة المدرسة، والتطوير المهني للمعلمين، ومجتمعات التعلم المهنية، وعقلية ومواقف قادة المدارس، ونتائج تعلّم الطلبة. كما هدف التقييم إلى عرض قصص النجاح من المدارس التي طبّقت ممارسات القيادة التعليمية المكتسبة خلال برنامج الدبلوم. جدير بالذكر أن نتائج التقييم والتحليل أشارت إلى أنّ برنامج الدبلوم المهني في القيادة التعليمية المتقدمة قد حقّق نتائج إيجابية ومهمة لمديري المدارس الذين حصلوا على الدبلوم، ولمدارسهم ومعلميهم وطلبتهم. فقد أشار أغلب المستجيبين الذين قُوبلوا خلال التقييم إلى مستوى عال من الرضا عن الدبلوم المهني في القيادة التعليمية المتقدمة. كما أكد مديرو المدارس الذين قُوبلوا على أثر الدبلوم الكبير في تعزيز قدراتهم، والتي أفضت إلى جعل البيئة المدرسية إيجابية وترحيبية، وأكّد على ذلك كل من الطلبة والمعلمين، ومديري التربية والمشرفين من وزارة التربية والتعليم. وأخيرًا قدّم التقييم مجموعة من التوصيات بهدف تحسين البرنامج وإثراء مضامينه.

Evaluation report of the Advanced Instructional Leadership Professional Diploma (AILPD) program 2023

This report presents the evaluation findings of the 'Psychological Adaptation Skills During Crises and Emergencies Program,' delivered by the Queen Rania Teacher Academy.
The primary objective of this evaluation is to assess the program's impact on creating an enhanced, inclusive, secure, and conducive learning environment within targeted schools. Additionally, it aims to measure the extent to which the program has enhanced educators' practices, skills, knowledge, and comprehension, enabling them to implement psychosocial support concepts effectively.
The evaluation's findings and conclusions reveal that the program has demonstrated its capability to create an improved, inclusive, secure, and conducive learning environment for students. Furthermore, it has brought about noticeable positive changes in educators' professional roles, both within the classroom and the school, as well as in their personal lives. Additionally, the evaluation includes a set of recommendations for further enhancements based on the findings.


يعرض التقرير لنتائج تقييم "برنامج مهارات التكيف النفسي أثناء الأزمات والطوارئ " الذي تقدمه أكاديمية الملكة رانيا لتدريب المعلمين، وهو يهدف إلى قياس أثر البرنامج في خلق بيئة تعليمية شاملة وآمنة وداعمة في المدارس المستهدفة، وتقييم دوره في تحسين ممارسات المعلمين ومهاراتهم وتوسيع معارفهم وتعميق فهمهم، وذلك لتنفيذ مفاهيم الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي على نحو نافع ومفيد. جدير بالذكر أن نتائج التقييم والتحليل أشارت إلى أنّ البرنامج قادر على خلق بيئة تعليمية شاملة وآمنة وداعمة للطلبة، فضلا عن أنه أحدث تغييرات إيجابية ملحوظة على الدور المهني للتربويين سواء على مستوى المدرسة والصفوف الدراسية أم على مستوى مهاراتهم الشخصية، وأخيرًا قدّم التقييم مجموعة من التوصيات بهدف تحسين البرنامج وإثراء مضامينه.

Evaluation Study of Psychological Adaptation Skills During Crises and Emergencies Program

This report presents the results of a study done for the Arabic programs at Queen Rania Teacher Academy which was based on the participants’ responses in those programs from the year 2013 until the year 2021. The study focused on the main impact of these programs in improving the quality of teaching the Arabic language through assessing the practices, behavior and beliefs of the participants while teaching the language. The study also included a group of recommendations for improvement based on its outcomes. 

يقدم هذا التقرير نتائج الدراسة التقويمية لبرامج اللغة العربية في أكاديمية الملكة رانيا لتدريب المعلمين، والتي جاءت من استجابات المشاركين في برامج اللغة العربيّة منذ عام 2013 وحتى نهاية 2021 ، وقد ورصدت الدراسة أبرز الآثار التي أحدثتها هذه البرامج في تجويد تعليم اللغة العربيّة، وذلك بقياس أثرها على المشاركين من حيث ممارساتهم وسلوكاتهم ومعتقداتهم التي يؤمنون بها في عملية تدريسها، فضلا عن اشتمالها مجموعة من التوصيات للتحسين بناء على نتائجها.

An Evaluation Study: Arabic Language Teachers&#039; Programs at QRTA

This report presents the evaluation results of the “Teach Like a Champion Programme” which is delivered by Queen Rania Teacher Academy. 
The main purpose of the evaluation is to measure the impact of the TLaC program (علّم بثقة) in promoting change in the teaching and learning practices among all educators and students and creating a positive culture inside and outside the classroom if acquired practices from the program were applied. 
Overall, the findings and conclusions of the evaluation reveal that TLaC program (علّم بثقة) is a successful teacher training program that has extensive accomplishments and strengths which need to be leveraged for further expansion and reach to more schools and educators in Jordan and the region.

يعرض هذا التقرير نتائج تقييم "برنامج علّم بثقة" الذي تقدمه أكاديمية الملكة رانيا لتدريب المعلمين. الغاية من التقييم هو قياس أثر برنامج علّم بثقة في تغيير ممارسات التعليم والتعلّم لدى المعلمين والطلبة وبناء ثقافةً صفيةً إيجابيةً داخل وخارج الغرفة الصفية في حال تم تطبيق الأساليب المكتسبة من البرنامج. بشكل عام، أشارت نتائج واستنتاجات التقييم أنّ برنامج "علّم بثقة" هو برنامج تدريبي ناجح للمعلمين، حقق إنجازات واسعة ويتمتّع بمواطن قوة كبيرة، والتي يجب الاستفادة منها لمزيدٍ من التوسّع والوصول إلى المزيد من المدارس والتربويين في الأردن والمنطقة.

Evaluation report of  &quot;Teach Like a Champion Programme&quot;

Queen Rania Teacher Academy designed and conducted a research study to explore the skills acquired by students in Jordan through distance learning during the global COVID-19 pandemic. The emphasis of the questionnaire was on the core skills and competencies required to meet the evolving needs of learners and to prepare them for the future job market. Questionnaire aimed to deepen our understanding of how distance learning developed students’ skills, what skills are  considered essential and need to be integrated in education to prepare students for the future. Through closed and open  questions, we have explored educators’ views in Jordan of their professional experiences of distance teaching and learning  and the challenges they faced in these exceptional circumstances. With 981 respondents from both, private and public  schools, we have gathered a broad view of responses. The outcomes of this research will help key stakeholders support  remote education and will inform policymakers, teachers, and school principals how best to support this type of learning as  well as to allocate resources and adjust the system for the developments of the future

أجرت أكاديمية الملكة رانيا لتدريب المعلّمين دراسة بحثية بهدف التّعرُّف إلى المهارات التي اكتسبها الطّلبة في الأردن أثناء تعلُّمهم عن بُعد في ظلّ ظروف جائحة فيروس كورونا المستجد COVID-19 . ركّز الاستبيان المتعلّق بتلك الدّراسة على المهارات والكفايات الأساسية لتلبية الاحتياجات المتعلّقة بالمتعلّمين ولإعدادهم لسوق العمل في المستقبل، إضافة إلى تعميق فهمنا لأهميّة التّعلّم عن بُعد في تطوير تلك المهارات، وتحديد المهارات التي تُعد أساسية للطّلبة ويجب دمجها في التُعليم لتأثيرها في مناحي وظائفهم المستقبلية. رصدت الأكاديمية عن طريق أسئلة الاستبيان آراء المعلّمين الأردنيين حول خبراتهم المهنية في التّدريس والتّعلّم عن بُعد بالإضافة إلى التّحديات التي واجهتهم في تلك الظروف الاستثنائية. شارك في تعبئة الاستبيان 981 مشاركًا ومشاركة من مدارس القطاعين العام والخاص في المملكة. ستُساعد نتائج هذا البحث الجهات المعنية في التّعليم، بما فيها صُنّاع السّياسات والمعلّمين ومديري المدارس على رفع وعيهم بأهمية اتّباع أفضل السّبل لدعم التّعليم عن بُعد، والحفاظ على المهارات التي اكتسبها الطّلبة أثناء الجائحة بتعديل التّعليمات وتخصيص الموارد اللازمة لتطوير مستقبل التّعليم.

Learning Skills Gained in  the Time of Covid 19 - A survey of educators’ responses

The Schools Network Research Study impact evaluation report presents the results of a three-year evaluation which studied the Schools Network Program offered by the Queen Rania Teacher Academy and its contribution to improving the quality of education in Jordanian schools. The study also examined the impact of the program on teaching practices in the four subjects of Arabic, English, Mathematics, and Science, instructional leadership practices, and student learning outcomes in the four subjects in the study schools.

يعرض هذا التقرير نتائج الدراسةٍ البحثيةٍ لبرنامج شبكات المدارس التي استمرت ثلاثة أعوام، والتي درست مدى إسهام برنامج شبكات المدارس المتخصص بالمبحث الذي تقدمه أكاديمية الملكة رانيا لتدريب المعلمين في الارتقاء بجودة التعليم المدرسيّ في الأردن وتحسينها؛ فعكفت الدراسة على تقييم الأثر الذي أحدثه البرنامج على الممارسات المُتَّبعة في تدريس المباحث الأربعة (اللغة العربية، واللغة الإنجليزية، والرياضيات، والعلوم)، بالإضافة إلى تقييم ممارسات القيادة التعليمية، والمخرجات التعليمية ذات الصلة بالطلبة في المباحث الأربعة داخل المدراس التي استهدفتها الدراسة.

This report presents the evaluation results of the quality, effectiveness, and impact of the (Innovation in Education) Program delivered by Queen Rania Teacher Academy in 2020. The results show high satisfaction of program quality and positive impact in participants’ knowledge and practices.

يعرض هذا التقرير نتائج تقييم جودة وفاعلية وأثر البرنامج التدريبي (الإبتكار في التعليم) المقدم من أكاديمية الملكة رانيا لتدريب المعلمين عام 2020. إذ أظهرت النتائج الرضا المرتفع حول جودة البرنامج والأثر الجيد في معرفة المشاركين وممارساتهم بشكل إيجابي.
