QRTA - Believing in the importance of the role of the educational counsellor, the Queen Rania Teacher Academy accompanies professional programs to build their skills in Jordan and the Arab region.
At the beginning of this year, we started a new professional development journey for a group of educational counsellors in the Kingdom's schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the Psychological Adaptation Skills Program. Self-reflection and self-reflection, to enable them to continue sustainable professional development after completing the training, through an educational experience in which the participants interacted with their peers and trainers and the content of the training program within direct interactive meetings and indirect individual and group learning tasks that raise the participants' skill in actual application in the classroom environment.
The training program seeks to achieve a set of objectives that include explaining the stages of growth and developmental characteristics of students at various educational levels, in addition to introducing counsellors to the concept of psychological counselling and the most important methods of providing counselling services, raising participants' awareness of cognitive-behavioural intervention methods and how to employ them in counselling work, and empowering counsellors.
From dealing with crises and emergencies to dealing with the problems that accompany them by employing strategies and stages of counselling to support their students in dealing with crises and emergencies and identifying emotional intelligence and its skills based on the Goleman model and methods of developing it among students.
