In the efforts to make the online training more effective for teachers and to equip them with tools to help them make their online teaching more interactive, QRTA trainers have employed different digital tools in the Reading Course. Trainers and teachers used two applications in one of the live sessions Jamboard and PowerPoint game “Spin the Wheel”. Teachers used Jamboard as an online whiteboard where they brainstormed the stages of the reading process. Also, they were introduced to the game Spin the wheel which was modeled as a tool for formative assessment.
