Dr. Osama Obeidat, CEO of the Queen Rania Teacher Academy, and Ms. Hanan Assaf, Business Development Manager, visited the Republic of Uzbekistan in coordination with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education (MPSE). As part of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Her Excellency Dr. Hilola Umarova, Minister of Preschool and School Education, to strengthen collaboration in teacher training and educational development.
The visit included Tashkent State Pedagogical University, one of Uzbekistan’s leading teacher preparation institutions, founded in 1935, as well as the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Directors of Preschool Educational Organizations in Tashkent, the Early Development Center in Samarkand (for kindergarten teachers’ training), and the Samarkand Center of Pedagogical Excellence (teacher training center).
It also included a visit to one of the 12 Presidential Schools in Tashkent specializing in STEM and language education, as well as the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi IT Specialized school in Tashkent, which caters to gifted students.
