The Queen Rania Teacher Academy has launched the Promoting Quality in Education in Inclusive Education in Jordan, ( PROMISE) project to improve the quality of inclusive education in Jordan. This initiative, in partnership with the Jordanian Ministry of Education and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), aims to empower school leaders, teachers, and counselors to create inclusive and inspiring learning environments at schools.
The project will be implemented over two years (2024-2026) in 60 schools across six districts in Jordanian public schools targeting 360 educators. It includes QRTA’s Advanced Instructional Leadership Professional Diploma (AILPD) and the Psychosocial Adaptation Skills Program. Utilizing a comprehensive inclusive model, the project promotes inclusion and diversity in education, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to enhance students' success.
