In August, the Queen Rania Teacher Academy launched the first phase of the "Professional Development Program for Kindergarten Teachers (Ta’seeso)" in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and with support from the World Bank. This program responds to the urgent need to enhance the quality of early childhood education, recognizing its critical role in shaping children’s cognitive and social skills during their formative years.
The program aims to empower public school teachers across the Kingdom by enhancing their teaching practices and equipping them with essential knowledge and skills. By integrating theoretical and practical approaches, it provides a comprehensive framework that fosters a nurturing learning environment, promoting holistic development and facilitating effective learning during this crucial stage.
Highlighting the importance of this initiative, the Academy successfully completed the professional development programs that strengthened the competencies of 70 kindergarten supervisors and offered support to 250 teachers. This month, the next phase will commence, involving 500 teachers from a target of 1,000, focusing on developing their skills to meet modern educational standards.
The launch of this program represents a significant step toward improving early childhood education outcomes by investing in teachers’ professional development, ultimately creating a lasting positive impact on the educational journeys of future generations.
