Amman - The Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) held a closing ceremony for the " Scaling Up Teacher Professional Development for Quality Education " project, which has been implemented over the past nine years in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and supported by the Canadian government. The ceremony was attended by the Canadian Ambassador to Jordan, H.E Mr. Tarik Ali Khan, Secretary General of the Ministry of Education for Educational Affairs, Dr. Nawaf Al-Ajarmah, and QRTA CEO Dr. Osama Obeidat, along with members of the Canadian Embassy, the Ministry of Education, and the academy's team.
The event celebrated the achievements of this project, which benefited approximately 36,000 teachers across various regions of the Kingdom through the programs implemented within this project. These programs included the School Networks Program, the Teacher Education Professional Diploma, and the Advanced Instructional Leadership Professional Diploma, aimed at enhancing educators' skills and developing their teaching practices.
The ceremony included a panel discussion featuring project beneficiaries who shared their success stories and highlighted the impact of the implemented programs.
