Amman - The ASAS project aims to support national efforts in developing pre-service and in-service teacher preparation and development programs. It focuses on enhancing education programs in early childhood stages, from kindergarten to third grade, to improve fundamental skills and achieve emotional and social harmony among students in Jordan. This collaboration involves a prestigious American university and will bolster Jordanian universities in enhancing their Bachelor of Education and Child Education programs.
ASAS aims to assist the Jordanian government, schools, universities, the private sector, and Jordanian community stakeholders in making data-driven decisions and developing policies to unify efforts in early education system development. Over the next few years, the project will serve approximately 23,500 educators and educational leaders, aiming to provide inclusive education and advanced curricula that employ student-centered teaching strategies and diverse assessment methods. Ultimately, it seeks to enhance fundamental skills for approximately one million students and achieve emotional and social harmony among them.
