Queen Rania Teacher Academy is seeking to hire the following positions:

 

 

Leadership Trainer

1.   Work with project manager and technical team to design and plan training activities.

2.   Lead training workshops and report on participants’ feedback.

3.   Work with project technical team to review the program implementation plan and its impact.

4.   Design, plan and implement effective teacher/ leadership support activities.

5.   Work with the project technical team and partners to develop selection criteria, protocols, templates and data-sheets for the network program.

6.   Follow-up on the integrity and update of the project databases.

7.   Lead school selection process including school visits, interviews, collecting baseline information and preparing relevant reports.

8.   Work closely with QRTA team and partners to develop and enhance the project activities.

9.   Contribute to the revision of the materials.

10.  Compile and share with other network teams the lessons learned and effective network strategies and practices.

11.  Prepare reports relating to the project and submit them to the direct supervisor.

12.  Maintain documents, records, files and reports related to the work and update them continually.

13.  Undertake any relevant tasks or responsibilities within the scope of his/her specialization as assigned by the direct supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

1.   University degree in relevant field

2.   At least 5 years’ experience in education field

3.   Experience in school management.

4.   Experience in teacher/ leadership training

5.   Experience in designing, mentoring and supervising training programs

6.   Experience in designing, mentoring and supervising training programs

7.   Understanding  key issues related to the education sector in Jordan

8.   Ability to manage and work effectively with large groups of educators in the implementation of education programs and activities

9.   Ability to monitor, document and report on progress

10. Excellent communication skills

11. Mastery of Arabic and English Language

12. Good computer skills

Procurement Officer

Procurement Officer will support the Procurement Dept. to process purchasing transactions for equipment, materials, supplies, goods, and services.

 

1.   Compile and maintain procurement requirements from different teams according to planned activities

2.   Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements;

3.   Assist in the development of specifications for equipment, materials, and services to be purchased

4.   Develop and process purchase requisitions / orders within purchasing authority;

5.   Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals;

6.   Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists, and award justification

7.   Update the vendors list and contracted suppliers feedback on quarterly basis;

8.   Search new vendors and assure the academy is getting the most effective solution with the highest efficiency and quality

9.   Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices

10. Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and management.

11. Undertake any relevant tasks or responsibilities within the scope of his/her specialization as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications:

      1.    Bachelor degree of Business Administration or related fields.

      2.    Minimum 5 years of experience.

Accountant

      1.   Undertaking financial administration;

      2.   Liaising with managerial staff, colleagues and clients

      3.   Ensuring compliance with taxation legislation.

      4.   Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and

            conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

      5.   Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.

      6.   Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.

      7.   Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.

      8.   Prepare forms for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities.

      9.   Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.

      10. Advice employees and clients in areas such as compensation, payments, tax issues, cheques and other issues as requested.

      11. Attend to the Bank / Social security Department / Tax department as requested

      12. Do the Bank deposits and withdraws as requested

      13. Prepare the cheques / print them and confirm that they are correct with supporting documentation to be presented to the management for signatory.

      14. Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form.

      15. Creating all needed files and maintaining the accounts documentation duly filed and organized.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills

      1.    Very good English –both written and spoken.

      2.    Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Accounting software.

      3.    Ability to work under pressure and prioritize responsibilities based on demand.

      4.    Preparation of related reports and reconciliations.

 

Qualifications:

1.   University degree in relevant field – Finance / Commerce / Accounts

2.   Accounting experience, minimum of 2 years’

3.   Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles

4.   Very good  accounting software user and administration skills

5.   Computer literacy
